Since its opening nearly a year ago, Circa69 American Gastropub has been the life of the party in Jensen Beach, bringing the spirit of 1969 to the area with its nostalgic interiors, open-air ambience, and overall good feels and eats.
Owned by Sharfi Holdings and the vision of Ben Sharfi, the 7,000-square-foot restaurant is filled with nods to the ’60s. Large-scale custom murals of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, the moon landing, and Woodstock grace the walls. An album cover collection is displayed behind the bar, and at press time, an outdoor walk-through of all things Route 66 was in the works.
The new restaurant near the Jensen Beach Causeway opened in February in the building that formerly housed a Tony Roma’s restaurant on Indian River Drive on the southwest side of the traffic circle. Chef Mike Vogler, the former executive chef of Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa, created the menu, which includes a lot of seafood.
